Peacefully on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at McMaster Children’s Hospital, Hamilton following a brief illness, Lowell Martin of Arthur Township, RR#6 Mount Forest in his 9th year. Beloved son of Lawrence & Doreen (née Martin) Martin. Dear brother of Rosella, Jeremy, Marilou and Michael, all at home. He leaves to mourn his paternal grandparents Laverne & Mary Martin and his maternal grandparents Floyd & Ruth Martin, all of Mount Forest. Great-grandson of Amsey Bearinger & the late Louisa Bearinger of Mount Forest, and Erla Martin and the late Elam Martin of Waterloo. Beloved nephew of Gordon Martin, Wayne & Karen Martin, Marie & Lester Wideman, Ellen & Edwin Bearinger, Loreen & Clare Bowman and Miriam & Murray Bowman, all of the Mount Forest Area. Lowell will be sadly missed by his many cousins and friends. Relatives and friends were called at the home of Lawrence & Doreen Martin, 9570 Concession 6N, Arthur Township, Mount Forest on Thursday from 2:00 – 5:00pm & 6:00 – 8:00pm and Friday from 1:00 – 4:00pm. A funeral service was held at the home of Lawrence & Doreen Martin on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 9:00am, followed by the burial at Spring Creek Old Order Mennonite Church Cemetery, 9596 Concession 6N, Arthur Township, Mount Forest. A funeral service followed the burial at Spring Creek Old Order Mennonite Church. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
