MARTIN, Jean (nee Britton)
Of Rockwood, passed away suddenly at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Wednesday, March 27 2019, in her 78th year. Beloved wife and best friend of 54 years to Don Martin. Loved mother of Greg (Julie) and Ryan (Kendra). Grandma will be sadly missed by Jessica, Mackenzie, Easton, Addyson and the late Jack (2003). Dear sister of Barbara (Charles) Twiss, Marlene Foster, Sharon (George) Henderson and the late Judy (Earl) Burt. Sister-in-law of Shirley (the late Dave) Stallwood and Yolande (Norm) Shaver. Will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends. Jean was a lifetime member of the Rockwood Lioness Club and a member of Stone United Church. Friends were received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Sunday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00pm. Funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 10:00am. Reception followed in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Memorial contributions to St. Mary’s Hospital or McMaster Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
