Mapleton council paid $171,000 in 2025
Total is up 4.4% from 2024
MAPLETON – Township council members here were paid $171,294 in 2025.
That’s a 4.4 per cent increase from 2024, which is in line with inflation, and $7,432 less than was budgeted for.
For base salaries, Mayor Gregg Davidson made $36,333, and councillors Michael Martin, Marlene Ottens, Lori Woodham and Amanda Reid made $22,323 each. That compares to $35,482 and $21,800 respectively in 2024.
Each was also paid a per diem: $6,730 for Davidson, $3,500 for Reid, $1,840 for Martin, $1,740 for Woodham and $1,080 for Ottens.
To cover registration fees, hotel stays, mileage, parking, meals and other expenses, Davidson was paid an additional $8,475, Reid $8,252, Woodham $6,525, Martin $4,429 and Ottens $3,113,
About $20,000 was also spent on group benefits, which are not included in the total.
Committee members were paid a total of $3,290.
That’s $250 for sitting on the economic development committee, between $50 and $100 for a term on the parks and recreation committee, and between $210 and $500 for committee of adjustment members.
