Mapleton baking club learns cake decorating
MAPLETON - The Mapleton 4-H baking club held its last meeting on Nov. 6. Club president Kinsey led the 4-H pledge and then the group hopped right into learning how to use piping bags and what tips are best for cake decorating designs.
Afterwards, four people at a time put the crumb catcher layer on their cake, while the rest continued practicing using their piping bag and tips. Everyone then decorated their cake and had completely different designs. Kinsey finished the meeting with the 4-H motto.
