Mapleton 4-H Heritage Club makes maple cookie bars and dipped candles at first meeting
MAPLETON – The Mapleton 4-H Heritage Club met for the first meeting.
The club held elections. President is Kate, vice president is Ivy and secretary is Charlotte.
After elections, the group made maple cookie bars as well as wild rice soup.
For the maple cookie bars, you need to keep it sweet and if you have a little bit of syrup put it on the top! We learned that putting the right amount of ingredients is key.
The heritage craft for the first meeting was dipped candles.
The club’s next meeting was to be held on May 9.
