MAPLETON – On Tuesday Sept. 10, we joined at leader Lynne Flewwelling’s for our first 4-H meeting of the Mapleton Club’s Pasta Project, reports club press reporter Daniella Wilkinson.

First, we started with the 4-H Pledge, then Lynne talked about the plan for the night.

We held our elections:  president is Olivia, vice president is Kate, secretary is Avery and press reporter is Daniella.

We split into groups, with one group cooking different types of pasta and sauce and the other group looked at and discussed the various types of pasta. Then we switched roles.

After, we got try the pasta with the creamy sauce, four cheese sauce, pesto and alfredo sauce.

We closed the meeting with the 4-H motto: learn to do by doing.
