It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Mary Mackenzie – Mason. Mary is a lifelong resident of Fergus. She worked at the Upper Grand District Board for over 50 years. Mary is predeceased by her parents Jim and Dorothy Mackenzie, husband John (Mac) Mason and daughter Beckie Mason. Beloved mother of James Mackenzie and his wife Shawn. Loved grandma of Avery, Sophie, Angus and Ellie Mackenzie. Loved great grandmother of Eleanore Mackenzie. Mary will be greatly missed by her loving sister Pat (Wheels) Mackenzie and her aunt Mary Croft. She will be lovingly remembered by many relatives, friends and loving feline companion Moley. Celebration of Life will be held at the Fergus Legion Branch #275, 500 Blair Street in Fergus, on November 28th, 2025 at 11:00am, with lunch and fellowship at the Legion following the Service. Donations in Mary’s Memory can be directed to the Fergus Legion or Cats Anonymous would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home.
