MACHAN, Shirley (Grant)
of R.R. #6 Mount Forest passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, November 25, 2018 in her 85th year. Loving wife of Bill Machan for 67 years. Mother of Dave and Valerie Machan, Sharon and Jim Tomlinson, Denise Friedel, Joan and Ken Brown, Wayne Machan, Marilyn and Scott Hunter and Brian Machan. Grandmother to her 19 grand and 26 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Bertha (Oben) Grant, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. To honour Shirley’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mount Forest on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00pm. A memorial service of remembrance will be held in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 2:00pm. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Kingdom Hall would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston.
