LYONS, William “Bill”
of Arthur passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Friday, July 10, 2020 in his 91st year. Beloved wife of Millicent (Gibson) for 66 years. Dear father of Archie Lyons of Guelph, Bill Lyons Jr. of Fergus and Marty and Lynn Lyons of Pickering. Grandfather of Jennifer and Brad Peirpoint, Kelly and Mike Jensen, Liam Lyons, Bobby Lyons, Katherine Lyons, Kelsy Lyons, Kyle Lyons, Kory Lyons and Adam Lyons. Great grandfather of Jet, Briar, Jack, Luke Carter, Teagan, Ryker Lillie, Parker, Lucas. Brother of Nan Martin of Ireland, Jean and Richard Gouthier of PEI and Sonny and Mary Lyons of Toronto. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. To honour Bill’s wishes cremation has taken place. Due to Covid-19 a private family service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 and will be live streamed for friends to view.
