LYONS, Millicent (nee Gibson)
of Arthur, former long time resident of Milton passed away peacefully at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur on February 3, 2021 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Bill Lyons (2020) for 66 years. Dear mother of Archie Lyons of Guelph, Bill Lyons Jr. of Fergus and Marty and Lynn Lyons of Pickering. Grandmother of Jennifer and Brad Peirpoint, Kelly and Mike Jensen, Liam Lyons, Bobby Lyons, Katherine Lyons, Kelsy Lyons, Kyle and Kelly Lyons, Kory Lyons and Adam Lyons. Great grandmother of Jet, Briar, Jack, Luke Carter, Teagan, Ryker Lillie, Parker, Lucas. Sister-in-law of Nan Martin of Ireland, Richard Gouthier of PEI and Sonny and Mary Lyons of Toronto. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. To honour Millicent’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial Service of remembrance will be held at a later date and will be announced at that time. Followed by interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. As expressions of sympathy donations to Arthur Caressant Care Residents Council would be appreciated by the family.
