LUCAS, Lloyd Arthur
of Alma, passed away on November 14, 2019 at Groves Memorial Hospital at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Carol Lucas (nee: Freeman) for 52 years. Loving father of Dwayne Lucas (Deborah Barnes) of Belwood, Kevin Lucas (Joanne Swift) of Belwood. Proud grandfather of Tanner Diebolt, Jamie, Jack and Michael Lucas. Lloyd will be deeply missed by his brother Ross Lucas of Hillsburg, sister Mildred Smith (Lucas) of Belfountain, brother Irwin Lucas of Thailand and sister-in-law Mary Stokes of Durham. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Marie (nee: Heslop), brother Bill Lucas, sister-in-law Doris Robertson and brother-in-law Charlie Stokes. Lloyd enjoyed farming, tinkering in the shop and lawn tractor pulling with Cub Cadets. A Celebration of Lloyd’s Life will be held upstairs of the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Donations in Lloyd’s memory may be made to Groves Memorial Hospital.
