of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, April 5, 2019 in his 59th year. Dear brother of Judy Ann Amelia Schlueter of Palmerston, Donna Marie Long of Palmerston, Diane (Clarence) Nieuwhof of Drayton and Dennis Long of Palmerston. Remembered by his nephew Vick Schlueter and his fiancé Dr. Aysah Amath of Calgary Alberta and niece Chelsey Nieuwhof and partner Brooks Weber of Castlegar B.C. Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Margaret (Grasby) Long and brother Danny Long. To honour David’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive Friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Sunday April 14, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Spring Interment in Palmerston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
