Local events included in Ontario’s top 100
LONDON - Wellington County events continue to be recognized as part of the top 100 festivals and events in Ontario.
On Feb. 28, Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) announced the 2019 Top 100 Festivals and Events as part of the FEO’s annual conference in London.
Province-wide

Wellington County has been a long-time participant in Doors Open events.
Local events
Local events recognized within RTO 4 (Huron, Perth, Waterloo and Wellington) include:
Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games, Aug. 9 to 11;
Mount Forest Fireworks Festival, July 19 to 21; and
Guelph Hillside Festival, July 12 to 14.
Hillside received additional recognition as a festival and event of distinction, drawing both an international and domestic audience.
In addition, Hillside was awarded Best Greening of a Festival or Event - $500,000 or more.
Submissions were judged by an independent panel of judges.
