LGHG Family Fun Day will look different this year

HILLSBURGH – The Let’s Get Hillsburgh Growing Committee’s Family Fun Day is going to look a little different this year.

For the past 14 years the event has offered in-person family fun for the Hillsburgh community.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the event as it’s known has been cancelled until next year. However, the committee is still going to offer a alternative type of Family Fun day.

On Aug. 15 the Lets Get Hillsburgh Growing Committee will host a Family Fun Day “Cruise” of classic cars.

The cruise plans to roll out at 12:30pm and will begin at the Ann Street parking lot and end at Trafalgar Road and Wellington Road 22.

Residents are encouraged to take a picture and send it in through Facebook for a chance to win a $50 voucher to the winner’s choice of local business.
