Leave media alone

An open letter to the federal government.
Our soldiers gave their lives in long, ugly wars to keep our country free from fascism and communism.
And now you are considering extreme controls on our media? Forcing them to have government approved licenses? Outrageous!
The media is there to be a check on the government, to inform the public on what you are doing. After all, the public is busy working to pay all those taxes you impose and cannot be in Ottawa to see what you are up to, like trying to let SNC Lavalin off the hook.
What is next? Are you going to require whistle blowers to have a license too? Leave the media alone. Stop bailing failing media out. Stop funding the Liberal-biased CBC. Let Canadians have a truly free media sector.
