LAWRENCE, Jean
After a long life, well lived, Jean Lawrence (nee Stewart) passed away peacefully at Strathcona Long Term Home in Mount Forest on Monday March 1, 2021 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Marshall (Mac) Lawrence (1976). Cherished Mother of the late Victor Lawrence (1968), (Donna Dyce), the late Glenn Lawrence (2005), Gayle Caudle (Larry), Ivan Lawrence (Dianne), Joan Carter, Carol Lillie (Ron Morand) and Roger Lawrence. Fondly remembered by her 11 grandchildren; Candice Anderson (John Crocker) Laura Rooney (Shane), Wayne Dyce (Erica), Sonya McNabb (Dan), Loretta Dawson (Pete), Adam Caudle (Mandy), Jason Carter (Caitlin), Grant Lillie, Leesa Lillie (Dan Izzo), Donny Lawrence and Christopher Lawrence Sadly missed by 23 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Florence and George Stewart and siblings Gordon Stewart, Alex Stewart, Gertrude Bridge and sons-in-law Charlie Dyce and Brent Lillie. Jean will be missed by all the extended Stewart and Lawrence families. Jean was a proud lifetime member of the Fergus Women’s Institute. A private family service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on March 5, 2021. A celebration of life will be held later when we can gather safely. Spring interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arthur United Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
