LAW, Vera Olive (Holmes)

Passed away after illness November 30 2018 at Palmerston Hospital. Pre-deceased by her husband Lloyd Holmes (1935-1967) and her son Rodger (1955-1997). Survived by her children Ron (Debb), Cynthia, Tony, Shannon (Don), Barbara and Chris (Janice); her daughter in law Marlene; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In keeping with Vera’s wishes, an informal and cheerful celebration of her life will be held. Join us Sunday December 9 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Red Door in Fergus, 212 St. Andrew Street West. Vera was the longtime face of The Bookery in Palmerston and Listowel. Because of Vera’s love and promotion of literacy, in lieu of flowers please purchase a book for a child you don’t know this Christmas in her memory.
