LAMB, Chuck
Passed away peacefully on May 27th, 2026 at the age of 94 at Hospice Wellington. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 67 years, Helen (Bolton). He was a proud and supportive Father to his family, Paul (Nancy), Joyce and Bruce (Maria) and grandchildren Sean, Melanie, James, Ben and Henry. He was also a loving Great-Grandfather to Ophelia and Emmett. He was predeceased by his brothers Ted, Fred and Alfred and his sisters Irene and Myrtle. Chuck joined the Canadian Armed Forces, ‘RCRs’ in 1951 and served in Korea, Canadian Peace Keepers in Germany and Whitehorse, Yukon. After discharge, he worked as a small engine mechanic and later went into business with Bob Bould starting ‘City Motor Service’ (Guelph) Ltd. Chuck will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, sense of humour and his great love for family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, 99 Woolwich St., Guelph on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 10:00am to 11:00am. A service will begin at 11:00am. Reception to follow. A private interment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. George’s Anglican Church in Guelph, Hospice Wellington or Guelph General Hospital Foundation. A tree will be planted in memory of Charles R. Lamb in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
