LADEROUTE, Rita Rose
Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Saturday, February 12th, 2022 in her 66th year. Loving sister to Linda Fox, Heather DeForest, the late Barbra Jackson (Murray), and Michael Rickett (Lynn). Rita is predeceased by her parents Bert and Mary Rickett. Rita is the dear aunt to Melanie Rickett, Kelley Haugh, Jeff Male (Julie), Ryan Fox, Nicki DeForest, Matt Rickett (Shelley), Caroline Rickett, Shannon Jackson (Trevor), Will Jackson (Alison), and Lyndsay Pleasant (Ivan). She is survived by 18 great nieces and nephews. Rita loved volunteering at Hospice Wellington and Community Living (where she was known as Aunt Rita, the Muffin Lady). She had a love of animals, adventures, and family gatherings. A special thanks and love goes to the St. Joseph’s Palliative team of nurses.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com. Memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington or the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Rita R. Laderoute in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
