Kitras apologizes for comments

Centre Wellington Stephen Kitras has issued a public apology for comments made about a local company during discussions regarding work at Belsyde Cemetery.

“I’d like to this moment to  apologize to Yard Weasels for any comments that I made during the Sept. 12, 2016 meeting,” said Kitras on Sept. 26. “I am truly sorry for any offense for any of my comments made during that meeting discussing the contract of Belsyde Cemetery.”

Kitras added, “That was never my intention. I am happy you were the lowest and best bid for the work.

“I am confident that you will do an excellent job as you have always done in the past.”
