Passed peacefully, after a two-year battle with cancer, surrounded by her family. June, (nee Haynes) formerly of Huttonville, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Douglas Kingshott for 61 years. Loving mother of Bruce (Annemarie), Mary (John Zelem), and Brian (Sue). Proud grandma of Shannon (Adam) and Shawn Kingshott (Morgan); Deanna (Andrew), Alexander (Lori), and Carter Zelem. Great-grandma of Scarlett Zelem. Dear sister of Janet Cronkrite, Ruth McGillivray and the late William (Bill) Haynes. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and special aunt to Carol (Darren Pollard) and their children Reece and Dana. The family would like to thank Dr. Gien and the team at the Odette Cancer Centre, Sunnybrook Hospital and Dr. Teper, Queen Square Family Health Team for their amazing care and support. Friends were received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. Funeral service was held in the chapel on Wednesday, September 11th at 11:00am. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Norval.
