His passing has left a hole in our hearts that can never truly be filled. Joseph and I were married for 42 beautiful years. For 42 years, we stood by each other, shared life’s ups and downs, and built a family filled with love. My heart breaks for my family and myself as we face life without the man I spent 42 years loving. No words can take away that pain, but I hope we find comfort in the beautiful memories we made together and in the love that will always remain. Joseph was a wonderful person with a big heart. He loved spending time with his son, Tommy, working on mechanical projects together and going fishing. The time they shared, the laughter, the projects, and the memories they made will always be special. He was also blessed with 11 beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom will forever hold a special place for their grandpa in their hearts. The memories they made, the time they spent together, and the love he gave them will never be forgotten. We shared so many amazing memories, and I wish we could have made so many more. The kids and grandkids will miss you dearly, and so will I. It is hard to put into words how much one person can mean to a family until they are no longer here. I would give anything for one more conversation, one more laugh, and one more day with you, Joe Rest peacefully, my love. You were a wonderful man, a loving husband, a devoted dad, and a cherished grandpa. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the love you gave us all. 42 years of marriage. A lifetime of memories. 11 beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A family who will love and miss you forever. Gone from our sight but never from our hearts. Until we meet again.
