JOHNSON, David
It’s with a heavy heart that the family of David Johnson share his passing after a brave, short battle with cancer. David was in his eighty-second year. Loving husband to his wife of sixty years, Judith Anne (Ambroise) Johnson. Father to Wendy Hoffman (Steve), Cindy Johnson, and David Johnson Jr. Proud grandfather of Benjamin, Mark and Michelle. Great-grand-papa to Carter Kingma (Jared). Brother to Peter Johnson (Margaret). David and Judith formerly co-owned Guelph Air Services 67 Ltd from 1967-1974. In 1974 they started Travis Hall Equestrian Centre and together with their children trained and showed many horses and riders. David was a dedicated family man and loved all animals, but had a special love for horses and dogs, he will be especially missed by his little dog Chipper. Memorial donations can be made to Palmerston and District Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. MJ Calarco, the nurses and staff at Palmerston for their excellent care and compassion. There will be no funeral service. A celebration of life will be held for David at a future date.
