JANSEN, Marten
At the age of 83 peacefully entered the presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Dearly beloved husband of Dietje Jansen (nee: Sikkema) for 57 years. Beloved and caring father of 9 children: Swanieta, Clarence and Anita, Keith and Corinne, Richard and Josephine, Ed and Cisca, Jeannette and Henk, Wendy and Eppe, Christa and Frank, Albert. Beloved OPA of 43 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents and brothers in The Netherlands. Survived by his brothers and sisters in law Klaas and Ina Sikkema, Henny and Gerry Broersma, Onno and Annette Sikkema.

Visitation for Marten was held at The Maranatha Canadian Reformed Church in Fergus on Monday January 9th between the hours of 2-4pm and 7-9pm and the funeral service was held at the church on Tuesday January 10th at 11am followed by burial at Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus. Donations can be made to The Lighthouse, Fergus home for the disabled. Arrangements are entrusted to The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus.
