James Gordon launches latest album in Eden Mills, performance with Katherine Wheatley

EDEN MILLS – Eden Mills Music at the Hall presents James Gordon in concert with Katherine Wheatley, when Gordon will also launch his new album Wrinkles and Scars on March 16.

The performance is scheduled for 7:30pm in the Eden Mills Community Hall.

Gordon will dedicate the performance to the Tumaini Letu Democratic Republic of Congo Project.

James recently joined the board of the Tumaini Letu Project; he will share news of the project at the concert.

An evening with Gordon, is known to be provocative, eye-opening and always entertaining, organizers say.

His previous recording When I Stayed Home took on the COVID years, and his tune Crybabies Caravan, was about the Ottawa truckers’ convoy, which organizer say kept his reputation alive for daring to address controversial issues.

Known for delving into sometimes challenging topics, Gordon plans to explore the effects of last year’s wildfires in Wild Wind Blows, living with dementia in Uncle Neil, and joys of aging with the whimsical title track Wrinkles and Scars.

Award-winning Guelph singer Katherine Wheatley, who is featured on the new album, will join Gordon.

Tickets to the event are $30 for adults and $10 for students.

Tickets can be purchased at the door with cash or in advance at edenmills.ca/event-details/james-gordon-in-concert-with-katherine-wheatley.
