Insights Juried Exhibition of Fine Arts returns to Wellington County museum

ABOYNE – The Insights Juried Exhibition of Fine Arts returns to Wellington County Museum and Archives (WCMA) from April 23 to June 28 for its 45th year. 

Information for Artists

Artists must register online before delivering their artwork to the WCMA. Registration is open until April 15.

Submissions are accepted from artists residing in the counties of Wellington, Dufferin, Grey, Huron and Perth and the City of Guelph.

Eligible artwork includes painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, sculpture and assemblage, fibre arts, artisanal arts, photography and digital and experimental media.

The exhibition’s opening gala will take place on April 23 from 7 to 9pm with the awards presentation at 8pm. 

Admission is by donation, all are welcome to enjoy refreshments, a cash bar and cast an early vote for the People’s Choice Award. 

The voting for this award will extend throughout the exhibit with the winner to be announced on June 19 at 1:30pm.

The Insights Committee has also organized a Walk with the Jurors on April 25 from 1:30pm to 3pm. 

Admission for this event is $10.
