‘Icing on the cake’

Dear Editor:

An open letter to Wellington-Halton Hills MP Michael Chong.

At the last moment and on the first day of early voting Mr. Scheer finally released his platform. Good job I did not vote for you today. Such cuts to Canadians, elimination of future infrastructure projects and foreign aid. He will decimate the federal civil service. This is worse than what Stephen Harper did. Do you condone this election platform?

The valued Conservative Party of Canada and Ontario is dead! Doug Ford is missing. Mr. Scheer forgot to tell us he was also an American citizen. However this platform is the icing on the cake. I hope that the citizens of Wellington and Halton Hills  arrive at the same position that I have. The Conservatives, both federally and provincially, can no longer serve both our constituency and Canada.

I shall think it over for another day, but any feelings of support for the old Tory party likely is dead.
