Melvin Douglas Hymers of Kurtzville passed away at his home on Friday, September 3, 2021, in his 79th year. Husband of the late Donna (Whetham) Hymers, and father of the late Michelle ‘Shelley’ Hymers. Brother of Larry and Carol Hymers, and Robbie-Lynn and Ron Clark, and brother-in-law of Ruby Wick, Winnie Detweiler, Merle Keller, Carolyn Whetham, George Whetham and Barb Reiner, Harold and Nancy Whetham, and Percy and Bev Caudle. Doug was predeceased by his sister Shirley Schell, and by his parents Mel and Vi (Wesley) Hymers. Visitation was held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from 12:00 Noon until the time of funeral service at 1:30pm. Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
