FERGUS – The Hugh Black Bonspiel at the Fergus Curling Club on Dec. 2 honoured the Black family, members of which were among the original settlers of Fergus. Hugh Black was also the first president of the Fergus Curling Club in 1834. A descendant of the family, Senator Rob Black’s son, Michael, greeted the participants to open the bonspiel.

Congratulations to the winning team of skip Neil Miller, Lucas Miller, Josh Miller and Liam Beacock.
