Horticultural Society has spring show on May 10
The Harriston and District Horticultural Society met in the auditorium for the April silent auction and meeting.
It was a busy evening, with 63 items donated. Some colourful arrangements were displayed, showing the beauty of spring. The attention of the crowd was captured by speaker Carol Dunk, of Barrie. The garden hints and tricks she offered were enjoyed by all.
Plans for the garden festival in June and the garden party are coming together. After the meeting was adjourned, members had lunch and social time. The Spring Flower Show will be held May 10.
The speaker will be Shirley Kock, from Gorrie.
