HOPKINS, Marion
Marion Margaret Hopkins (nee Ferguson), of Mount Forest, passed away at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Saturday, December 21st, 2019 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Doug Hopkins. Loving mother of Bruce Hopkins and his wife Marianne of Burlington, and Jennifer Hopkins and her husband Man Sang Wong of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Genevieve, Alexandra, Wen and Effie. Dear sister of Alan Ferguson and his late wife Barbara, and Peter Ferguson and his wife Sheila. Sister-in-law of Don Renton and his wife Lou, and Robert Hopkins and his wife Isabella. Predeceased by her siblings; Mac Ferguson and his late wife Barbara, Anne Renton, and Raymond Ferguson, and her brother-in-law Donald Hopkins. A funeral service celebrating Marion’s life was held at the Mount Forest United Church, 175 Queen Street East, Mount Forest on Thursday, December 26th at 11:00am with visitation held prior to the service from 10:00 – 10:45am. Spring interment at Amos Dromore Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or Mount Forest United Church would be appreciated by the family.
