Homes abuzz with drones

Edge Realty’s George Mochrie is using drone technology to be cutting-edge in the realty industry.

The realtor has been using high-end drones to film properties for a few years and has been receiving positive feedback from many people.

“The drone is an excellent piece of technology to better feature the properties. It gives it a different look and makes the listing stand out from other listings,” he said.

Mochrie said that he has been encouraged by the feedback he has received. He recently used the technology on a property he sold on South River Road in Elora.

“The people had fallen in love with the property before they even got there. It just shows you the power of video,” he said.

The drone technology is certainly creating a buzz and it is helping properties stand out for buyers.

“In this day and age it’s about standing out and getting noticed,” said Mochrie.
