Hockey smiles

Dear Editor:

As another season of hockey draws to a close, I’d like to send a shout-out on behalf of myself and the rest of our hockey community.

Thanks to all of the volunteers behind the scenes, with Centre Wellington Minor Hockey and The Grand River Mustangs for all that you do. Countless hours spent in boardrooms and in front of computers trying to manage hundreds of players, teams, schedules, ice times and coaches.

Time away from your families helps the rest of us enjoy time with ours.

As a coach I’m directly responsible for 17 smiles multiple times a week, but you fine people are responsible for all of them. For that I thank you.
