Hillsburgh Garden Club hosted annual plant sale
Plant sale – With the local risk of ground frost now finally over, the Hillsburgh Garden Club held its annual plant sale on the morning of May 21. A rainbow of colourful annual and perennial plants were grown and donated by volunteers for the event. Organizer and club president Connie Bienia said turnout was great, thanks in part due to Mother Nature’s help by keeping the rain at bay during the event.
