HILLIS, Noriene Elva (Williams)
Passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace, Elora, in her 99th year with her family by her side. Beloved wife for 60 years of the late Bill Hillis (2006). Survived by Pat and Grant Darroch, Sarnia; Peggy and Bruce Wallace, Dunnville; Jim and Renie Hillis, Orleans and Bill and Laura Hillis, Drayton; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. Loved sister of Eunice Randall, Elora. Predeceased by her parents Melville and Vera Williams, brother Earl Williams, sister Bernice Burrows and sister Jean Scott. Noriene was a longtime registered nursing assistant at Groves Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed her bowling, playing Bingo and camping. A Celebration of Life for family members will be held on Thursday, March 30 from 2pm - 4pm at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Elora. Interment will be held at the Elora Cemetery. Donations may be made to Groves Memorial Hospital, Wellington Terrace or charity of one’s choice.
