Highway 401 construction moving ahead in 2016
A Highway 401 reconstruction between Hespeler Road to Puslinch;’s Townline Road is a go for 2016.
That work requires the relocation of various utility connections.
On Nov. 5 Puslinch councillors briefly noted a report that stated construction is scheduled to commence in the spring of 2016 and utility relocations are scheduled to be completed in advance of construction - beginning spring 2015.
Those affected are to prepare utility relocation plans and return them by Dec. 15. Utility companies notified are: Hydro One (transmission and distribution). Union Gas, Rogers, Bell and Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro.
Puslinch Mayor Dennis Lever asked if the township had any direct involvement and the response was no.
