Passed away quietly on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at her residence after a year long battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Lawrence E. Hewitt. Loved mother of Christine Pettigrew, Lawrence R. Hewitt and Corrine Hewitt, Kevin J. Hewitt, and Michael Pettigrew. Dear sister of Carol Pettigrew and James Pettigrew. Loved grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and great aunt. Visitation was held at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 1 – 3pm. Following the service, interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 762 Woolwich St, Guelph at 3:30pm. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of E. Lynn Hewitt in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
