HERWYNEN, Marie Matilda
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Groves Memorial Hospital at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Hubert for 65 years. Loving mother of Bert (Cindy), Henry, Peter (Tammy), John (Bonnie), Dave (Kelly) and Marilyn (Stan). Proud grandmother of Chelsea (Matt), Jessica (Andrew), Melissa, Emily, Levi, Alyssa, Josh, Tyson (Alicia), Bo, Jordan, Renee, Will, Ellie, Wyatt, Morgan, Daveena, Brydon (Jaclyn), Karissa (Arnold) and Devin. Cherished great- grandmother of Carter, Daniel, Tatum, Cooper, Ebony, Piper, Mikayla, Arend, Derek, Seth, Leo, Aiden and Samuel. Marie came to Ontario from The Netherlands in 1955. This is when Hubert and Marie started their life together. Marie was a proud farmer. When Hubert and Marie down sized to another farm, Marie continued to hobby farm. Marie will be remembered for her great sense of humor and smile that she kept right until the very end. She was the most amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and cared for everyone that she interacted with. We will miss her very dearly. As per Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held in the near future. Memorial donations made to World Vision would be appreciated by the family.
