HENRY, Edith Christina (Fidler)
of Clifford passed away at Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Thursday, January 29, 2026 in her 97th year. Wife of the late Gerald ‘Mike’ Henry. Mother of Dale & Doris Henry of R.R.1, Ayton, Bonnie & Norm Wilson of Fordwich, and Donna & Doug Speers of Clifford. Grandmother of Jeff Wilson & Eileen Parker, Larry Wilson, Bradley & Nathalie Wilson, Steven Henry & Angee Robert, Shannon & John Jaklitsch, Bobbi Jo & Clint Greenley, and Trevor & Dana Speers. Great-grandmother of Grace, Olivia, Joey, Angel & Taylor, Griffin, Rilyn, Tristan, Alexis, Hayden, Ava, and Drew, and great-great-grandmother of Nora, Mya, and Ava. Also survived by her sisters-in-law Kathy Fidler and Joyce Henry, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Bryan Henry, her good friend Maurice Murray, brothers and sisters Lorena & Wilbert Wilken, Beatrice & Crawford Schaus, Norman Fidler, Dorothy & Gordon Reay, Lavina & Russell Bartman, Gordon & Eleanor Fidler, Dora & Wilmer Schaus, Irene & Mike Becker, Ruby & Ernie David, Stanley & Lorraine Fidler, and Allan Fidler, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joyce & Elmer Yost, Harold & Alice Henry, Shirley & Allan Jackson, and Keith Henry. Visitation was held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm. The funeral service was held at the Clifford Community Hall on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 1:30pm with reception to follow. The funeral was livestreamed and the link available on the funeral home website. Spring interment in Clifford Cemetery.
