HENDERSON, Ralph Thomas
Passed away peacefully at the Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Thursday, October 14, 2021 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Patricia (Benedict) Gregson Henderson and the late Georgina (Shaw) Henderson (2001). Dear father of David (Brenda) Henderson and Gina (Judy Robertson) Henderson. Stepfather of Jim (Phyllis) Gregson, Maureen (Ron) Lewis, Bonnie (Rick) Bellerose. Grandfather of Pam, Michael, Tom, Allison, Tiffany, Charlie, Tyler, Kate, Sam, Audrey, Cara and Brent. He will be missed by his fifteen great grandchildren. Brother of Jean Jackson, Alma Rennie and Stewart and Phyllis Henderson. Brother-in-law of Jim and Shirley Shaw, Karen Davison, David (Lynda) Benedict, John Benedict and Dave Rose. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Leslie and Lena (Checkley) Henderson, brother Harold and his wife Mabel Henderson, brothers-in-law Clarence Jackson and John Rennie and sister-in-law Lillian Rose. Ralph was a proud farmer in the Atwood area who raised purebred Registered Hampshire Pigs that were sold to over 35 countries. He also gave back to the community and was lifetime member of the Atwood Lions Club. A graveside service was held in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur on Monday, October 18, 2021. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
