Heather Rankin coming for Fergus for holiday performance

FERGUS - Heather Rankin will be returning to Fergus this December.
She will perform an evening of both traditional and original songs of the season at Melville United Church on Dec. 6.
Following her 2016 Juno nominated solo album, A Fine Line, Rankin released a Christmas album, Imagine.
“Her angelic voice wraps her listeners in coziness and nostalgia in this 10-song collection, which includes both original songs, cowritten by Rankin, and traditional songs she grew up singing at Christmas,” officials say.
“The evocative imagery in Rankin’s contemplative lyrics inhabit the same deeply personal world Rankin created in A Fine Line, while songs like Wrap it Up harken back with frivolity to the music she created with her siblings as The Rankin Family.”
The show will take place on Dec. 6 at 8pm at Melville United Church in Fergus.
Early bird tickets are available until Aug. 15 and are $30 for adults and $20 for youth.
Regular price tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for youth.
