Headwater Arts Gallery to present Colour art show

ALTON  – Colour is Headwaters Arts second themed, member art show that celebrates a world filled with colours as seen through the eyes of the selected artists.

The gallery committee received over 35 entries for the show. Thirty-eight works by 28 artists were selected by the gallery committee jurors.

The art show and sale features artwork in a variety of mediums including acrylic, clay, textured sculpted paper, watercolour, oil, dye on silk, textiles, glass mosaic, mixed media mosaic, fibre, and mixed media.

Participating member artists include: Audrey H Smith; Bhavna Bhatnagar; Catherine Bobesich; Claudio Arcuri; Deb Menken; Deborah Powell; Emilia Perri; Haley Marfleet; Helen Dup;assie; Hildegarde Sausik; Jackie Warmelink; Janis Dixon; Joanne Coughlin; Jody Leamen; Kevin Ellis; Linda Murphy; Lynn Gilbank; MaryLou Hurley; Pat Hertzberg; Patty Lynes; Patty Maher; Sandamali Angunawela; Sherry Park; Stephanie Schirm; Susan Powell; and Wayne Hudson.

The official opening reception is to be held on Feb. 15 from 1 to 3pm at the Headwaters Gallery in the Alton Mill Arts Centre.

Colour 2025 runs from Feb. 12 to March 16. The Headwaters Gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
