HARTUNG, Joyce Anne (nee Silverthorn)
Passed away peacefully on June 22, 2019 in her 82nd year at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Palliative Care in Guelph. Beloved and devoted wife of Laverne Hartung. Loving mother of Debra Marshall (John), Marie Graham (John), Bill Hartung (Alison) and Philip Hartung. Cherished grandmother of Lacey, Karissa, Kendra, Whitney, Sarah, Victoria, Jake, Steven and Shawn. Joyce received the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002 in recognition of her long service as a caring foster mother to over 100 children. In respect of Joyce’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
