Chili challenge - The Harriston Rising committee hosted the Great Bowls of Fire Chili Challenge at the Harriston Legion on March 6. Diners sampled the recipes created by members of the local business community and voted for their favourites.

From right: Pat Lane, John Cox and Dave Turton were also among the cooks. The winner, decided by diner ballots, was the Cox Sanitation entry created by Rick Fisk and served by Josh Fisk.
