Harriston Preschool bottle drive raised over $1,200

Preschool fundraiser - A bottle drive to benefit Harriston Preschool on May 2 raised over $1,200. From left: Cavan, Paul and Keely Murray deliver some of the empties to the bottle return depot in Harriston. The non-profit school is planning another bottle drive on May 23. From 1 to 3pm school volunteers will be set up next door to the bottle return depot on King Street to accept bottles from donors who can deliver them. Volunteers will also pick up around town or in rural areas within Minto. Donors are requested to have bottles out by noon and email their location in advance to harristonpreschool@gmail.com.
