Harriston Caressant Care offers volunteer appreciation
HARRISTON - Residents and staff at Caressant Care Retirement Home in Harriston appreciate their volunteers year round, even if they have not been allowed to visit since restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic were put in place back in March.
On Aug. 25, activities assistant Jaylene Roswell delivered appreciation gifts door-to-door to volunteers with a card and gift bag filled with play-on-words presents.
The cards read, “Life is what you make it and you make it lovely.v
“Thank you for everything you have done thus far at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Harriston!
“We wanted to give you a little gift to remind you how great you are, how much we miss you, and to let you know, we can’t wait to see you again! Stay well, Your friends at Caressant Care.”
