GUELPH – Susan Bennett just won $50,000 with Instant Bingo.

The 73-year-old Guelph woman played her ticket at home and decided to double check her numbers using the OLG Lottery App.

“It said big winner – I was numb. It still doesn’t feel real,” she said as she picked up her cheque at the OLG prize centre in Toronto.

Susan Bennett plans on buying a pinky ring, among other things.

Susan plans to take a moment before deciding on her next steps, but will likely invest some of her winnings.

“To celebrate, I am going to buy myself a pinky ring so I can always remember this moment and extend my luck!” she said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Silvercreek Parkway in Guelph.

Meanwhile, there’s another winner.

The 57-year old salesman describes himself as a practical guy. “I will feel more comfortable celebrating my win once I’ve used the money responsibly,” he shared

“This feels good – this will go a long way in helping me be debt-free,” he said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Stone Road in Guelph.
