Guelph library book launch

GUELPH – Celebrate the achievements of local teens at the Guelph Public Library’s Teen ETCH Anthology Book Launch, on June 1 at 2pm.

The event will be held in the West End Library Branch at 21 Imperial Rd. south.

Local authors Deepa Rajagopalan, Ivanka Fear and Josée Gratton will  announce the 2024 Teen ETCH Creative Writing Contest winners.

Refreshments will be provided.

“The Teen ETCH creative writing contest is always so humbling and inspiring,” said library assistant Amy Lychwa.  “We get to connect with teen authors and encourage their writing talents by connecting them with local author mentors.”

Vocamus Writers Community partnered with the Guelph Public Library to launch and publish ETCH 2024, and the Kiwanis Club of Guelph for donated $1,000 towards Teen ETCH.

This anthology of teen works showcases a variety of short stories and poetry selections based on this year’s theme, eras.

Copy of ETCH 2024 will be sold for $20 each or 2 for $30 at the event.
