Breaking ground – Lions Club members, township officials and a local youth marked the ground-breaking of the future Brent Barnes Memorial Skatepark behind the Arthur Optimist Pavilion on April 7. Officials plan to open the skatepark on June 15, in time for Arthur’s 150th anniversary and Optimist Club Canada Day celebrations this summer. Breaking ground – Lions Club members, township officials and a local youth marked the ground-breaking of the future Brent Barnes Memorial Skatepark behind the Arthur Optimist Pavilion on April 7.
