Great Big Sea singer Sean McCann performs at the Fergus Grand Theatre

Popular concert – Sean McCann, singer and founder of the Newfoundland group Great Big Sea, performed at the Fergus Grand Theatre on March 24. Being from “The Rock” he was full of stories from his own life and the life of the band. The full-house audience seemed to know the words and sang along with McCann. At one point in the first set he commented, “What am I doing here? You guys are doing all the singing.”
